Military & Tactical Belts for Duty, Field & Everyday Carry

A riggers belt is constructed from high-strength nylon rated for body-weight load bearing, the stiffest and most supportive tactical belt available. A duty belt is a wider format belt in nylon or leather designed specifically for uniformed law enforcement with a 2.25" width to fit standard duty holsters and accessory hardware. Both serve as tactical load-bearing belts, but for different configurations and audiences.

Standard duty holsters and accessories use 2.25" belt slots. Riggers belts typically come in 1.75" and 2" widths. Check holster specifications before purchasing. For traditional law enforcement duty belts with standard accessories, a 2.25" duty belt is the correct choice.

Use an inner and outer belt system, a slim inner belt worn through your pants loops with a hook-and-loop outer duty belt that adheres to it. This system prevents the outer belt from rotating or sagging during movement. A properly fitted rigger's belt is stiff enough to resist sagging without an inner belt system.
