NYCO stands for Nylon/Cotton blend, typically 50% nylon and 50% cotton. It is the standard fabric for U.S. military combat shirts because it combines the durability and abrasion resistance of nylon with the breathability and comfort of cotton. NYCO is significantly more durable than 100% cotton at a similar weight.

Yes. Tactical performance polos in solid colors, black, navy, and gray, are widely used as duty shirts by law enforcement agencies, security companies, and public safety departments. The moisture-wicking fabric keeps officers comfortable during long shifts, and the professional appearance meets department standards.

FR stands for Fire Retardant or Flame Resistant. FR shirts are required for personnel working in environments with flash fire or arc flash hazards, military explosive ordnance disposal, oil and gas workers, electrical linemen, and some law enforcement tactical units. FR fabric self-extinguishes when the ignition source is removed rather than continuing to burn.
